Shapes & Shadows: My First Photos

This photo is of a grill fence in the year 12 yard. The sun is shining from behind the bards creating a shadow of the grilled bars along the floor of the astroturf. This is mixed in with natural things like leaves, astroturf and some rubbish. I could manipulate this image to communicate the message more of 'shapes and shadows' is coming back at the contrasting time of the day and capture an image of the shadows on the other side of the grill. I could then use photoshop to cut these images an join them into one, to show bar shadows on both sides. Therefore, communicating more of the message of shapes and shadows.

This photo is from my perspective of archways found on the first floor of the DE Building. You can see the sun shining through the archways creating some shapes and shadows on the wall of the building. A way I could show more of the message of 'shapes and shadows' is coming back at another time when the sun is in a different spot to get a different perspective of this spot and different shapes and shadows.

This photo is of a palm tree found at the back of the DE building. The sun is shining onto the front of the tree meaning there is a dark shadow on the building of the tree, creating contrast with the colorful, bright tree to the dark shadow. Things I could do to improve this photo to show the message of 'shapes and shadows' is cut out the sky which has nothing to do with it. maybe get another angle with maybe more trees and shadows which are found on the side of the building.
