1. What is your full name and hometown?
Geoff Easterbrook, Grafton
2. When did you start collecting records?
When I was 14 and I did because I loved the music.
3. Where did you get your records from? Store name, location?
I used buy records from anywhere local I could find and also imported records from shops in the CBD.
4. How many records do you think you have in this collection?
I think I have around 500 LP's.
5. Have you listened to all your records?
Of course. I have bought all my records to listen to.
6. Where did you buy your first record? Price? Who was it?
I bought my first record at grace brothers in Bankstown square and it was a compilation called the essential Beatles. It cost me $4.99
7. What is your reasoning for collecting?
I started collecting simply because I loved the music.
8. What is your favorite part/record of the collection?
My favourite record ever in my collection is Free Live by Free. It is my favourite because it is Rock and Roll with blues and the vocalist Paul Rodgers is very good.
9. What is the most expensive record in your collection?
The most expensive record in my collection is a record by Carson which I bought for $80.
10. Do you have any collecting regrets?
My biggest regret was getting rid of my turntable for a number of years meaning I could not listen to the records. Luckily, I have purchased a new one and hopefully plan to digitalize all 500.
